Yrning's Battle

Imagen
Think of this as a Wow trailer The first view is from the air, you are floating over a town, if you look down there's a forest and houses and in the background, you see a castle? A large structure on a mountain and you know that behind that mountain there is a cliff that overlooks a river. And the camera starts to get closer, you start to see plumes of smoke that rise and sometimes cloud your vision. But you approach the tower very fast and begin to make out sand-colored figures, big as buildings, carrying stones and horses in their hands. Some carry wagons and as they get closer you begin to see in detail that all these things are being thrown over the stone wall that surrounds what now, you all recognize as the Monastery of Yrning. And at that moment everything accelerates, you go through the stone wall and quickly cross a courtyard where you see commotion and soldiers and continue advancing until you stop in front of a wall, with large windows, several figures looking out worri...

Letting go...

This was a test, a test from the gods and men. For us to prove our worth... I saw the cave, that cave, the cursed cave. The cave where my first party died, where the men I love died. Tysgard was at my side, bumping me as a sign of support. And we walked in. A curve, two... and then the hall. That open space built in stone where he was, Samir.  Standing tall, with worry on his eyes. He lifted his hand, yelling at me "you have to go!" with anxiety and worry in his voice. And I just couldn't. "I am more powerful now" was my first thought and tried to push forward, trying to face the danger. But forward in the cave, it was him again, looking at me, worried... "You have to go, you have to live for us" and something breaks in me, I can't, I can't leave him again. And I take his hand and try to vamp us out using one of my most powerful spells.  And the light goes brighter and we don't move an inch. Tysgard, behind me, lifts his voice "you ha...

Un Barco, un capitán - Drack'Jor

Imagen
